Snow is on the ground, well, barely.. winter has set in here on the West Coast and with it comes a few fun announcements.
This wednesday Nov. 23rd I will be playing some very fantastic and rhythmically fascinating music written by Curtis Andrews and performed by the Offering of Curtis Andrews. Think Afro-Indian Jazz. The Kozmic Zoo (Broadway and Ontario) 8 pm onwards. With Francois Houle on Clarinet, Jared Burrows on guitar, Tommy Babin, bass, JP Carter, trumpet, Curtis Andrews, drums, Russell Shumsky, percussion and yours truly on Marimba.
Nov. 26th I will be playing with Tambura Rasa at the Dream Cafe in Penticton for any of you who have friends and family in that area. www.tamburarasa.com
Dec. 3rd I will be playing with Tambura Rasa at the Balkan Festival along with several other great Balkan bands including Orkestar Slivovica - at the Russian Hall in Strathcona. Come down for some lively music and dancing!
