 Have had the pleasure of hitting the road with Locarno over the past few weekends. Locarno is the latest project from Tom Landa, frontman of the Juno-Award winning Paperboys, and is a great Latin/Mexican folk, roots, soul group. Our first stop was a little run up to Kamloops, Ashcroft and Kelowna, playing a University, Hall, and Theatre on the way. Snow was piled high on the sides of the Coquihalla and lakes were frozen solid. For a true west-coaster like me, it was a treat to experience a proper bit of winter, though I was more than happy to return to the mild and damp Vancouver weather.
Since then, we've played Errington, a wonderful community near Parksville that runs a fantastic concert series throughout the year and also Revelstoke for the Global Spirit Fest.
