I am excited to be partnering with the wonderful folks over at Gandharva Loka to present a hand drumming workshop. They have many beautiful drums and instruments from around the world. Come down and enjoy.

Introduction to Hand Drumming with Robin Layne
July 12, 2012 , 8pm
Cost: $15

Instruments provided by Gandharva Loka, no experience necessary.

Learn to play the djembe, doumbek and cajon in this introductory workshop.

You will learn the basic technique on each of these drums, as well as a traditional rhythm from West Africa, Spanish flamenco, and Arabic bellydance. Have fun learning about the world of drums and explore world cultures through music.
